Terol goes fastest in 125cc warm up

Spaniard Nico Terol was the quickest rider in the first warm up session of the day at Brno.

As the action commenced on race day at the Cardion ab Czech Republic Grand Prix it was Nico Terol (Jack & Jones Team) who went round fastest in the 125cc warm up session. Indeed the Spaniard was more than half a second quicker than the rest of the field and he will hope to use that pace to get away from second on the grid in the race at 11am.

The World Championship leader Julián Simón (Bancaja Aspar), who was second in the warm up and starts fourth on the grid, and former leader Andrea Iannone (Ongetta Team I.S.P.A.) who starts from pole and was third fastest this morning, will both try to make Terol’s job as difficult as possible in the Brno contest.

Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) lapped within a second of Terol, whilst Scott Redding (Blusens Aprilia) was not far behind in fifth place despite the ankle blow he sustained on Saturday.
