Aoyama visits Japanese Prime Minister’s residence

The 2009 250cc World Champion wanted to thank the PM for his personal congratulations after his achievement.

Hiroshi Aoyama, the last-ever 250cc World Champion, today visited the residence of Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama in Tokyo to extend his thanks for the letter received in the wake of his title.
With Mr Hatoyama on an official visit to India, Aoyama was received by the Secretary to the Prime Minister Mr Tadakatsu Sano and Deputy Chief of the Cabinet of the Secretary Mr Yasuhiro Ando.
During his visit Aoyama presented a signed photo and discussed the forthcoming 2010 season, in which he will compete in the MotoGP class.
