Edwards’ leathers up for auction in aid of worthy cause

Colin Edwards may give no quarter on the racetrack –as evidenced by his determined passes in battles with James Toseland and Loris Capirossi at Le Mans- but the American has continued a generous tradition of helping Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official charity.

An eBay auction that runs until May 28th sees the Texas Tornado putting up a full set of racewear as a prize. Leathers, a helmet, boots and gloves will be on offer in a complete package, with the winning bidder also receiving a pair of tickets and a hotel room for the duration of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix event on July 3rd-5th.

Edwards will personally hand over the race kit in a Saturday ceremony at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. All funds raised will go to Feed the Children.
