Lorenzo promotes Barcelona 2010 at Olympic Stadium

Jorge Lorenzo was at Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium on Tuesday, posing for photos with Barni, the mascot of the forthcoming 2010 European Athletics Championships in the Spanish city.

In the promotional event at the Lluís Companys stadium at Montjuïc, which hosted the 1992 Olympics, Lorenzo was joined by other sports stars helping to raise the profile of next year’s athletics event.

The double 250cc World Champion, posed alongside B10 (Barcelona 2010) mascot Barni on a Yamaha R1 road bike. Dakar driver Nani Roma and rider Marc Coma were also in attendance.

Lorenzo’s next MotoGP date sees him back on track next week at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, where the premier class riders test their 2009 machinery under the floodlights from 1st to 3rd March.
