MotoGP full press conference video available

Back by popular demand, motogp.com once again offers a complete video of the post-race press conference –this time for the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. Watch as podium finishers Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa face the media after their exhausting battle at Sachsenring, in which Rossi took the win in fantastic fashion.

The press conference obviously centred on the 30-lap thriller in Germany, concluded just moments before the riders took to their seats. Rossi reiterated the fierce nature of the battle between the top four finishers with his initial comments, whilst there were also entertaining asides from his two Spanish rivals.

Pedrosa revealed that he had experienced a brief scare when watching the big screen around the Sachsenring track, catching a glimpse of the OnBoard camera placed behind Repsol Honda teammate Andrea Dovizioso’s front tyre. The shot of heavily degraded rubber gave him cause for concern, until he was able to distinguish the bikes through analysing the direction of the turns.

With the press so keen to get the inside story on plans for 2010, the subject inevitably arose when present in the same room as the riders. The press conference concludes with Pedrosa and Lorenzo volleying back the questions in diplomatic fashion.
