Riders participate in Brno floorball game
A number of MotoGP stars and several Czech participants in the World Championship played a game of ‘floorball’ in Brno city centre on Thursday.
In a preliminary event ahead of the Cardion AB Czech Republic Grand Prix on Thursday MotoGP riders Colin Edwards, Chris Vermeulen, Gabor Talmacsi and Toni Elías were joined by several local World Championship starlets to take part in a game of floorball, held in the iconic Náměstí svobody square in Brno city centre.
Regular Czech GP riders Karel Abraham, Lukas Pesek and Lukas Sembrera were in attendance, as were 125cc wildcards Ladislav Chmelik and Karel Pesek and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup participant Jakub Kornfeil, to try out one of the most popular games in the Czech Republic, learning from professional players from the local Kometa Brno team, the NHL and the Slovak National team.
