WTR San Marino unveil 2009 project
Moto2™ is powered byRiders Baldolini and Zarco appear at San Marino event.
The WTR San Marino Team became the latest outfit to hold an official presentation with their unveiling this past weekend, in which they outlined their 2009 project in 250cc and 125cc.
The presentation took place at San Marino’s state office for tourism and sport, once again the main sponsor for the team run by Loris Casellucci and Matteo Napolitano. 250cc rider Alex Baldolini and 125cc rookie Johann Zarco were present as they were officially named as WTR San Marino’s two on-track representatives for the year.
Their respective LE and RS bikes will be decked in the white and blue colour scheme of the republic’s flag, representing the country that has provided the World Championship with the likes of Manuel Poggiali and Alex de Angelis.
Defining the ambitions of the team for the year, Technical Manager Roberto Baglioni stated that they were convinced of “being able to aim for the top section of the classification right from the first races.”
