Silverstone Day of Champions tickets on sale from Monday 22nd March

Enjoy one of the best days out in British motorsport and support Riders for Health by attending this year’s Day of Champions event at Silverstone.

Riders for Health, the official charity of MotoGP, has announced that tickets for the Day of Champions 2010 at Silverstone will go on sale on Monday 22nd March at 9am.

This year’s event will take place on Thursday 17th June, with the AirAsia British Grand Prix scheduled for June 18-20.Those wishing to support Riders for Health and also get the chance to see behind the scenes of MotoGP can get their British GP weekend off to the best possible start.

Day of Champions 2010 is sure to be better than ever, so make sure you do not miss out by buying your tickets as soon as they go on sale. You can buy tickets through Riders for Health’s online shop at or by calling the Day of Champions ticketline on 08702 242 960. There are a range of tickets which will go on sale, with stunt shows, side-car rides, live music, quizzes, prizes and the of the stars of MotoGP live on stage all part of the fun. As always the highlight of the day will be the world famous Day of Champions MotoGP auction. The stars of MotoGP will all be on stage to help raise thousands of pounds to support Riders for Health’s lifesaving work in Africa. Leathers, helmets and signed paintings will all go under the hammer in the amazing show. And this year the organisers of MotoGP have already confirmed some incredible once-in-a-lifetime auction items.

There are two Paddock Pass tickets which will go on sale, and which will give you the chance to see how the paddock works as the teams gear up for the weekend. These tickets also give you access to all the fun in the entertainment zone throughout the day.

If you are coming to Silverstone by bike, then the Ride-in ticket provides you with the chance to experience the famous motorcycle arrival. Breakfast at the Hill Top Cafe on the A5 at Towcester will be followed by departure for Silverstone, where you will then complete laps of the famous circuit on its new layout. The Ride-in ticket includes afternoon Paddock Pass tickets, for an all-inclusive experience. Pillion tickets are also available, and must be purchased with a full ride-in ticket.
