Racing Team Germany present their 2010 line-up

The team will compete in the Moto2 and 125cc World Championships this season, with Arne Tode in the intermediate class and Tomoyoshi Koyama and Jakub Kornfeil in the eighth-litre category.

In an official team presentation at the Sachsenring circuit this week Racing Team Germany showed off the three-rider line-up that will represent them in the 2010 World Championship.

Arne Tode will ride a Suter chassis in the new Moto2 class as he makes his debut in the World Championship, having won the German supersport title in 2009. The German rider has been preparing for the new season at the two official Tests to date, with the third and final one returning to the Jerez circuit this weekend.

In the 125cc class Japanese rider Tomoyoshi Koyama and Czech rookie Jakub Kornfeil – who won the 2009 Red Bull Rookies Cup – will ride Aprilia machines, and both will also be at Jerez for their final adjustments before the season commences in Qatar on April 11th.

Of the younger riders team boss Dirk Heidolf said: “Tomoyoshi has experience of over 70 Grands Prix, has won a race and has had eight podiums, and has not yet got the final feeling for his new bike.”

“Jakub is very open-minded and will be able to gain a lot of experience quickly,” he added. “He is very ambitious, and I think we will have a good year with both riders.”
