Marco Simoncelli details his new fairing

This weekend the San Carlo Honda Gresini rider will ride with modifications to the aerodynamics of his RC212V machine after a trip to Japan last week. Here he explains the changes in the attached motogp.com video.

The commitment to seeking improvements from both the San Carlo Honda Gresini team and HRC resulted in a trip to Japan last week, where rookie MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli’s fairing underwent some wind tunnel tests in a bid to improve the Italian’s top speed on his bike.

Simoncelli returned a happy man and in this motogp.com video he explains the modifications that were made to ensure he has a more comfortable, faster ride, including the small indentations on either side of his handlebars which allow him to now tuck his body in more effectively.
