Confidence growing says Mike Leitner

Confidence growing says Mike Leitner

Dani Pedrosa’s chief mechanic on the Repsol Honda team discusses how things are developing in the Spaniard’s garage after two rounds of the 2010 campaign, and looks forward to round three at Le Mans.

After a tough pre-season Dani Pedrosa found what appeared to be a much improved level at the Gran Premio bwin de España as he took pole position and finished second in the race.

In this video the Spanish rider’s chief mechanic Mike Leitner explains how he feels things are progressing in terms of development of the RC212V. “We’re going in the right direction, but we’re still not ready,” says Leitner. “We can see that Yamaha and Ducati are very strong, so we still have to improve, especially on our race performance. I think we have more confidence now though.”

The Austrian also looks ahead to the next round, the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France on May 23rd. You can view the interview in the attached video.
