Jeremy Burgess thinks Rossi is not in shape

Always sincere in his comments, Valentino Rossi’s chief mechanic has told GPWeek.com that the Italian star struggled in the last two races “because he is not physically well, not because of the set-up of the bike”. Rossi said at Le Mans that he had not been able to establish the right setting on his machine, whilst others believed the problem was with his shoulder which he injured in a motocross accident prior to the originally scheduled GP of Japan, a crash that was perhaps more serious than first thought.
