Hayden focused on Indy fitness after Brno test

The Ducati Team rider tried out new front forks on his Desmosedici GP10 and is hoping his injured left hand is better in time for his home race.

Nicky Hayden gave positive feedback about a new front fork which was tried for the first time at the Brno test on Monday, as the American set the tenth fastest time whilst taking care not to force his injured left wrist. The American is confident he can be back to full fitness in time for his home race at Indianapolis on August 29th.

Nicky Hayden:

"We got out there in the morning and got a few hours of testing in because we really needed it. We had a few new settings we wanted to try as well as the new fork. The feedback was positive but at the moment but we need more tests. My hand was a little painful but honestly it wasn't a major drama and I hope that with a week's rest I can be fit for my home race."
