Gavin Emmett’s Aragón QP assessment

Gavin Emmett’s Aragón QP assessment

The motogp.com commentator looks back over an intense qualifying session, and you can test your own expertise with Fantasy MotoGP 2010 which has great prizes to be won for the Malaysian GP!

Casey Stoner’s hot form in qualifying at Aragón secured the Australian pole position for Sunday’s race and motogp.com commentator Gavin Emmett believes that the front row of Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa will be contesting the podium spots in the race.

“It’s great for Stoner and Ducati as they’ve not had a pole position since the opening round, so whatever they have found on that bike this weekend has obviously worked,” said Gavin. “Hopefully it can carry into the race and there can be a great battle at the front with the two Spaniards.”

“You know Lorenzo and Pedrosa will be there in the race, Pedrosa is in such great form and looked as though he could have taken pole if he hadn’t made a slight mistake,” continued Gavin. “I don’t think Valentino Rossi will be up there because I think he’s struggled too much this weekend, but Nicky Hayden has looked good and he might be in with an outside shot of a podium depending on what happens. I think it’ll be between Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa for the podium positions and I can’t really see anyone else getting involved in that.”

You can test your expertise against that of Gavin’s by playing the Fantasy MotoGP 2010 game, and for the Aragón and Japan rounds there are some fantastic prizes to be won. Find out more and play by clicking here.
