Pole man Iannone fastest in warm up

The Fimmco Speed Up rider led the Moto2 timesheet in the Sunday warm up at Aragón.

Andrea Iannone was quickest around Aragón on Sunday morning in the 20-minute warm up session, as the Italian confirmed his pole pace with a best lap of 1'55.503. That made the Fimmco Speed Up rider 0.069s faster than Championship leader Toni Elías (Gresini Racing) who placed second in the session.

Elías, who will start from the third row, was followed in the warm up order by Alex de Angelis (JiR Moto2) who avoided a high-side during the session when holding onto his machine well. His team-mate Simone Corsi completed the top four.

Gabor Talmacsi (Fimmco Speed Up) was fifth, with wild card Kev Coghlan (Monlau Joe Darcey) underlining what has been an impressive weekend so far with the sixth best time.

The Moto2 Race gets underway at 12.15pm local time.
