Elías prepared for patient approach after MotoGP Test

The Moto2 World Champion completed the MotoGP Valencia Test with a good understanding of what he needs to work on during the winter break.

New LCR Honda MotoGP rider Toni Elías completed 86 laps of the Valencia circuit during the second day of the Official Test, concentrating his time on chassis set up and suspension in order to gather further information for his new technical crew. The Spaniard took a step-by-step approach and posted the 17th fastest lap of the day, as he continued his adaptation to his new RC212V.

Toni Eliás

“I feel a bit tired because this bike is physically demanding compared to the Moto2. In the winter break I will train more to strengthen my muscles. However, today I felt more at ease but I am still looking for the best base set-up for me. My main issue was the bike balance so I could not push as I would have liked but I am not worried about it. I have got a lot of experience on these bikes and I know it takes time to adapt. The best way to improve my feeling on this machine is to work hard together with the team.”
