Andrea Dovizioso: 2010 season review looks back over the campaign of each premier class rider with a video which compiles the most pivotal moments of their year.

Andrea Dovizioso’s third season in the premier class showed a marked progression from the Italian, as he scored his best points tally to date and collected seven podiums on his way to fifth in the Championship.

Immediately on the pace Dovizioso took third at Qatar and stood on the rostrum four times in the opening five rounds. Pushing for a first victory of the year at Catalunya he crashed and finished 14th, but had nevertheless proven a point – that he was capable of and determined to challenge at the top of the order.

A first MotoGP pole position – at Motegi – was another highlight and delivered him another podium result after a run off the top-three steps. He repeated the result at Sepang, and at the conclusion of the season it was confirmed that his form had earned him an extension with the factory Honda team for 2011 after he finished fifth in the overall standings.

You can recap Dovizioso’s 2010 campaign in the attached video, which brings together the most important moments of his year.
