Roberto Rolfo’s World Championship experience stretches back to 1996 when he made his debut as a 250cc wild card, and in the attached motogp.com video the Italian speaks with Azi Farni about his career from his entry at Mugello as a 16 year-old right up to his present-day Moto2 challenge with the Italtrans STR team.
Having competed in the former 250cc class for seven seasons and then in MotoGP for the 2005 campaign, Rolfo returned to the World Championship stage for the inaugural Moto2 season after four years away and has taken a podium this year at Sachsenring, and currently occupies 12th position in the standings on 43 points.
