Ask the Rookies!
After gathering the questions of motogp.com users and asking them to the Rookies who will ride in the 2010 MotoGP World Championship, see what they had to say in this video!
At the second official pre-season MotoGP test at Sepang last month motogp.com asked the likes of Álvaro Bautista, Ben Spies, Hiroshi Aoyama, Aleix Espargaró, Héctor Barberá and Marco Simoncelli questions put forward by motogp.com users.
More than 1500 questions from fans around the world were submitted to motogp.com, and we asked them to the riders who will make their full season debuts in the 2010 MotoGP World Championship.
In the attached free video you can find out which three people Spies would invite to dinner, how it is a dream and motivation of Aoyama’s to be like his hero Daijiro Kato, and how Espargaró thinks the introduction of the new Moto2 category will help riders progress to the MotoGP class.
In the longer video motogp.com presents lots more of your questions to the Rookies, allowing you to get to know better the new faces in the premier class for 2010. amongst a range of subjects Spies talks about his ‘Elbowz’ nickname, the differences between superbikes and MotoGP and his admiration for Valentino Rossi, Bautista talks about the reasons behind why he rides with the number 19, and Barberá discusses his riding style on the Ducati.
There is more from Aoyama on his hopes for his debut season in the premier class and Simoncelli talks about training with Rossi, whilst Espargaró reveals exactly what goes through his mind when he approaches a corner at high speed.
