Cortese joins Racing Team Germany

The 20 year-old will form an all-German partnership with Dirk Heidolf’s team in the 2011 125cc World Championship.
Racing Team Germany has announced the acquisition of Sandro Cortese for the 2011 125cc World Championship, thus forming an all-German partnership between the pair for the forthcoming season.
The experienced 20 year-old Cortese, who has six full World Championship campaigns behind him, will ride an Aprilia RSA for Dirk Heidolf’s team, under the technical direction of Jürgen Lingg.
Cortese scored his highest World Championship points tally in 2010 as he collected 143 on his way to seventh position, achieving podium finishes at Sachsenring and Indianapolis and qualifying in pole position at Mugello.
