Yamaha to auction Edwards’ MotoGP apparel for charity
A set of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider’s full racing gear will be up for sale, with all proceeds going to Feed the Children.
Yamaha Motor Corporation USA have announced there will be another incredible opportunity to bid for a full set of Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider Colin Edwards’ MotoGP racing apparel, with all monies raised going to Feed the Children.
The lucky winner will be presented with their purchase by the man himself at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on the weekend July 23rd-25th, being invited on stage on Saturday evening to collect their autographed prize. The winning bidder will also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they have helped raise important funds for Yamaha Motor Corporation's charity.
The package includes a full set of Edwards’ MotoGP race wear, with Spidi leathers and Sidi boots and gloves and the Texan’s Arai helmet. On top of that, the winning bidder will also receive a pair of weekend three-day general admission passes to the GP, including paddock access and a hotel room for Friday through to Sunday, July 23rd-25th.
"Colin has proven once again just why he's such a favourite of fans around the world by donating an actual set of his race gear for such a great cause," said Bob Starr, Yamaha's General Manager of National Communications. "This year Colin has also thrown in a special ‘Boot Camp’ rider skills training session near his home in Texas for the winning bidder!"
The auction is taking place on eBay now, and continues until June 29th. You can place your bid by visiting the eBay auction page now!
