Suzuki unveil 2010 livery
See the first pictures of the new 2010 Rizla Suzuki GSV-R after the MotoGP team revealed the Troy Lee Designs inspired livery.
The first images of the new 2010 Rizla Suzuki GSV-R were released today (Friday) by the MotoGP team, and you can view them here on motogp.com.
Created by Troy Lee Designs, the new livery has a dynamic new shade of the iconic ‘Rizla blue’ that will decorate the bikes of team riders Álvaro Bautista and Loris Capirossi as they mount their respective 2010 MotoGP World Championship challenges. The first sightings on track of the new livery will be at the official Qatar Test next week (March 18-19), with its race debut at the Losail International Circuit on April 11th.
The 2010 version of the machine the duo will ride is the fourth generation of the 800cc GSV-R four-stroke prototype Grand Prix bike, and it has been developed for the 2010 season with a focus on improved acceleration and increased engine durability, to help with the new technical regulations that limit the number of engines per rider to six for the whole of the campaign.
The GSV-R has also had improvements to its aerodynamics, chassis performance and electronic systems to make it the most technologically advanced racing motorcycle that the Suzuki factory has ever produced.
Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Team Manager Paul Denning explained the new changes to the bike to motogp.com at the last Sepang Test, and you can read his descriptions here.
