The reigning World Champion and his crew chief on the Fiat Yamaha team review their seven-year era with the Japanese factory in this feature-long video interview.
The end of the 2010 season will bring to a close one of MotoGP’s defining chapters as Valentino Rossi parts ways with Yamaha to start a new challenge with Ducati.
In his seven-year spell with the Japanese factory which has delivered four World Championship titles the 31 year-old has experienced highs and lows, all of which he discusses in the attached motogp.com feature-length video interview.
Rossi talks about each of his seven seasons with Yamaha, detailing his title wins and rivalries with riders such as Sete Gibernau, Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo with whom he has battled closely.
Rossi also recalls his two seasons without the title in 2006 and 2007 as well as the injury suffered this year at Mugello, which caused him to miss his first World Championship races since his 125cc debut in 1996.
Alongside the nine-time World Champion his crew chief Jeremy Burgess explains how the duo turned the M1 into a World Championship winning machine, giving a technical point of view on the evolution and development of the bike.
