Stop and Go racing Team to use Eskil Suter chassis

After months of deliberation the Stop and Go Racing Team has opted to use the chassis developed by Eskil Suter. Persuaded by the racing experience at the highest level of the Swiss manufacturer, combined with the integration into its team structure, the team believe this is what is needed to keep their riders at the highest level of competition possible.

Héctor Faubel and Ratthapark Wilairot are the riders who will carry the challenge of Stop and Go Racing Team after strong 2009 seasons. The team will begin their pre-season preparations on February 17 at Montmelo with a three-day test, and will then visit several venues around the world to complete 12 days of physical training before the season starts.

Eduardo Perales commented: “We spent time evaluating the options for our Moto2 World Championship campaign, visiting many factories and all were of a very high technical standard, which made the decision very hard. We spoke with our riders and technical staff and came back from Switzerland having made a decision that this option gives us the best chance of winning the first Moto2 World Championship.”
