Vladimir Leonov is the sole Russian representative in the Moto2 class of the World Championship this season, riding for the Vector Kiefer Racing team on board a Suter chassis.
Leonov has experienced an eventful start to his Moto2 class, crashing in the opening race in Qatar and picking up a fractured elbow before being unable to ride at Jerez for round two despite his best efforts.
Heading to Le Mans fully recovered, Leonov will hope to make his first significant mark in the new intermediate category and in the attached motogp.com video you can view an exclusive interview with the rider, who discusses his riding history.
