Desmosedici GP10 continues its evolution at Jerez

The Ducati Marlboro team, who did not take part in the opening day for test riders at the official MotoGP test at Sepang on Wednesday, continued to develop their prototype at the Jerez circuit in Spain.

Riding the Desmosedici GP10 as a series of checks were undertaken, including fuel consumption, was former World Championship rider Franco Battaini, who concluded the test with a positive assessment despite a fall late in the day.

“We’ve had a good test even though the weather conditions were not the best. In the morning the track is always wet,” said Battaini.

“I had a crash at the second turn and I landed on my right arm,” he continued. “I may have a partial fracture of the ulna, but it’s not serious in any case. It should not prevent my return to this track for the next test, which is scheduled for March 17-18.”
