The San Marinese team unveiled their project for the new season last Friday, and will be represented by French riders in both the Moto2 and 125cc categories.

French riders Valentin Debise – in Moto2 – and Johann Zarco, 125cc, will carry the WTR San Marino Team challenge in the 2010 World Championships as the structure enters its seventh season on the World Championship stage.

The team held a presentation last Friday at the Secretary of State for Tourism’s site, confirming the successful partnership between the Republic of San Marino and the WTR structure which will be led by Team Manager Loris Castellucci this year.

Recently turned 18 years old Debise will race for WTR in the new Moto2 category, having competed in the 250cc class in 2009 where he finished in the points on seven occasions.

Debise will be the only rider in the Moto2 class in 2010 to ride a chassis provided by ADV, a leader in its sector which is based in Monaco and whose Director Roberto Cevolini said: “ADV has accepted this challenge with the intention of obtaining optimum results.”

“Our chassis will only be used by the WTR San Marino Team. This will allow us to have a permanent and direct line with the technicians, and carry forward the development which will without doubt be of great benefit.”

The 125cc team structure has renewed its partnership with Johann Zarco, who took sixth place at Mugello last year. In 2010 he will again ride an Aprilia.
