Times of India: Sarath Kumar the first Indian rider in the World Championship

As reported in the Times of India, the rider chosen to participate in the 125cc World Championship, after the agreement between the WTR and the Indian team Ten 10 Racing, will be Sarath Kumar, who will become the first Indian rider in history to participate in MotoGP.

Kumar, 18, a student at the University of Madras, who represented India in the UAM Asia Cup disputed in Japan last September, has just three years of racing experience, but is confident that the strategic agreement with WTR, planned for three years, will give him the knowledge needed to fight in the top flight of world motorcycling.
