Capirossi goes for medical check

The Pramac Racing rider went for a specialist check-up on an inflamed right shoulder.

Loris Capirossi visited a specialist on Thursday to seek medical advice on his right shoulder, which has been troubling the Italian rider since January.

“I have to say that the check-ups I went through were positive,” said Capirossi. “Yesterday (Thursday) I had a scan which showed that the tendon and muscle have an injury. Fortunately there is nothing broken. Now I will work hard, twice a day, to try and cure the inflammation. I want it to be healed and am determined to reach at least 80-85% of my peak physical condition for Estoril.”
