Speedweek: Yamaha interested in Bradl

Current Moto2 World Championship leader Stefan Bradl has attracted the interest of Yamaha, who are considering the possible acquisition of the German rider for the Tech 3 set-up for 2012 according to Speedweek.

Helmut Bradl, father of Stefan, was present at the Spanish GP at Jerez last month where he established several contacts, and Yamaha Motor Racing MD Lin Jarvis was quoted as saying: “Bradl is a very interesting rider for us, and Germany is a very important market for Yamaha.”

Bradl himself commented: “Tech 3 is one of the few teams interested in me making the step up to MotoGP, but it’s not something I want to think too much about at the moment.”
