British riders promote the GP with a London sightseeing tour

The 125 and Moto2 class riders who are racing at home this weekend enjoyed an open bus tour around the capital to promote the Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Seven British riders competing in the Moto2 and 125 categories, together with riders Malaysian Zulfami Khairuddin from Malaysia and Marcel Schroetter of Germany, enjoyed a bus tour through central London on Wednesday, in a promotional event organized for the AirAsia Grand Prix of Great Britain which takes place this weekend at the Silverstone circuit.

Embarking on an open top double decker bus, the world class riders did not go unnoticed on their tour of the British capital, where Bradley Smith enthusiastically took over as tour guide. The youngster from Oxford pointed out sites of interest to his colleagues and the journalists who accompanied them, including such landmarks as the Parliament building and Trafalgar Square.

Pedestrians who witnessed the event were amazed at the sight of the Moto2 rider leading a tour bus of fellow World Championship participants and were delighted when the young Britain engaged in bantering with them from the top of the bus.

Smith also arranged to interview each of his companions on the way to comment on their seasons to date and expectations for the Grand Prix this weekend.
