Pramac Racing targets Mugello after forgettable Assen

Pramac Racing targets Mugello after forgettable Assen

Following Loris Capirossi’s crash in qualifying on Friday, misfortune then struck teammate Randy De Puniet in the Iveco TT Assen race on Saturday.

The Pramac Racing team ended the weekend in Holland with an air of disappointment. The race lasted only one lap for Randy De Puniet, who went down into the first corner of the track after only one lap. After another race to forget, Pramac will attempt to restart the season at the next round in Mugello, a key circuit for Ducati and certainly the right race to begin a new campaign in a season that has thus far lacked success for the satellite team.

Randy De Puniet :

"I am really upset over what happened today. I wanted to end this race with a good result, but I slipped at the beginning of the second lap. This negative period seems to be a never-ending story for me and for the team. Today I could have at least finished in eighth or ninth position. I am very sorry, I have to apologize to my team and my technicians, who are always working very hard for me, but today I made a big mistake and I lost control of my bike. I hope that the Ducati will be ready to give the best at Mugello, I will sure push to the maximum to do well.”
