MotoGP stands out at Las Vegas Licensing Expo

The Las Vegas Licensing International Expo 2011 took place during the second week of June, and once again proved to be a fantastic event for the promotion of the MotoGP brand.

For the fourth year in a row Dorna Sports was present at the Licensing International Expo, which was held from June 14th-16th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas, United States.

The fayre, the most important global event in the licensing sector, provided Dorna Sports with the perfect platform on which to promote the MotoGP brand and its extensive range of licensed products with the aim of further increasing the number of licensees. The Expo also offered the chance to explore licensing opportunities with collaborators from all parts of the world, and the Dorna stand was made all the more attractive by the presence of a replica of the Ducati ridden by Valentino Rossi.

The Licensing Expo was held in New York until 2008, in which year it was transferred to its current Las Vegas site. More than 400 exhibitors were in attendance with almost 5,000 brands represented, amongst them prestigious icons such as Disney, Warner, NBA, NASCAR, Hasbro, Marvel, Dreamworks, Mattel and Cartoon Network, along with many other businesses and international agencies. More than 20,000 people visited the fayre during its three days.
