Cancellation of FP2 sessions in MotorLand

Cancellation of FP2 sessions in MotorLand

The Gran Premio de Aragón MotoGP and Moto2 FP2 sessions were cancelled today (Friday) due to an electrical shortage.

The power issue was caused by the failure of one of the power transformers at the track, leading to a substantial blackout at the venue. The promoters of the Gran Premio de Aragón did everything possible to fix the issue and allow for the scheduled track activity to go ahead as planned, but ultimately were unable to guarantee the safety standards required of the circuit.

This situation led to the cancellation of the remaining sessions. Work is currently being carried out in order to solve the issue and ensure that the Grand Prix can resume as normal tomorrow, Saturday September 17th.
