The Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing rider led the proceedings ahead of Terol and Kent at the Gran Premio de Aragón Friday morning opening practice.

A sunny and hot morning greeted the single cyclinder class in the opening practice at the Motorland circuit, with rookie Maverick Viñales the only rider under the 2'01" with a time of 2'00.897 to place him 0.266s ahead of Nicolas Terol (Bankia Aspar). Danny Kent (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) was third at 0.650s down on the leading time, while Avant-AirAsia-Ajo duo Efrén Vázquez and Johann Zarco completed the top five, following seven tenths off Viñales.

Behind the lead pack with the sixth fastest time was Spaniard Alberto Moncayo (Team Andalucía Banca Cívica) with a time of 2'01.873, followed by Sandro Cortese (Intact Racing Team Germany) with a posted time of 2'02.098 and Miguel Oliveira (Team Andalucía Banca Cívica) 0.371s behind the German to rank eighth in the outing.

Spaniard Héctor Faubel (Bankia Aspar) and Dutchman Jasper Iwema (Ongetta-Abbink Metaal) rounded out the top ten times.
