Abraham happy with Estoril findings
The Cardion AB Motoracing rider and his crew completed a successful day’s Testing at the Portuguese circuit on Monday.
Czech rider Karel Abraham successfully completed the official MotoGP test at the Estoril circuit in Portugal on Monday.
Testing with pain in his elbow and fingers following his crash in Sunday’s race, Abraham completed 85 laps on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP11 and set a best time of 1’38.087.
“I am quite satisfied with the result of this Test,“ said Abraham, whose Cardion AB Motoracing team mechanics paid particular attention to improving rear grip, which caused him big problems.
“Unfortunately, in one of the corners the rear tyre slipped and I crashed,“ explained Abraham. After his return to the track the Czech rider made significant progress and finished in twelfth place overall.
“I believe that we found a good set-up during this Test,“ he concluded.
