Krummenacher happy with Jerez learning curve

It was the ultimate opportunity for the newly formed Swiss Moto2 team and its competitors in the Moto2 class to get ready for the season opener in Qatar in less than two weeks time. The team’s rider Randy Krummenacher was ranked 13th on the timesheet on Sunday afternoon.

Randy Krummenacher:

"Again at these three days here in Jerez we were able to learn a lot. I’m glad that the conditions remained dry until the end as we already had mixed conditions on the opening day. However, on Sunday afternoon the temperatures were slightly cooler and the wind got even stronger, we were able to complete our programme. In general I’m satisfied with our achievement at this final test before the season opener in Qatar in two weeks time. After recording the 13th fastest lap time on Sunday I’m quite confident. Above all I’m happy about that fact that we were lapping very constantly which is important for the races. After a long and busy pre-season I’m now looking forward to the start of the World Championship. At this point in my learning curve in Moto2 I need races for which I’m sure that this will make me even faster. Nevertheless, I will not make the expectations too high. My goal for the first race in Qatar is score points and to improve my performance throughout the qualifying session as I have to get used to and find the limit for the soft tyres from Dunlop."
