New look Technomag-CIP machine presented

The Technomag-CIP team showed off the new livery it will display on its Suter MMX Moto2 machines in 2011, during an official team presentation in Switzerland over the weekend.

Alongside Team Owner Alain Bronec at the event were riders Kenan Sofuoglu and Dominique Aegerter, the former of whom will contest his first full World Championship campaign with the squad having impressed in rides at Estoril and Valencia towards the end of 2010. The 26 year-old Turk becomes a permanent team-mate for Aegerter in 2011, as the Swiss 20 year-old continues with the team for a second season having placed 15th overall in a successful debut season of the Moto2 category.

“Kenan and Dominique have unveiled the new colours of the bike and are ready for the first Tests, planned for February. The team has an ambitious plan for 2011 and we will fight for the podium at every round!” said Bronec. “We are grateful to Technomag for its renewed confidence in 2011, and we welcome carXpert on board with great pleasure.”

The Technomag-CIP team confirmed that it plans to carry out its first Test of 2011 at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona on February 7th and 8th. Both riders will also carry small stickers on their respective bikes and leathers this season displaying the number 48, in memory of Shoya Tomizawa.
