The two riders drove for the PCR Sport team and finished fifth overall (first in their A3T category) in the endurance event at the Montmeló circuit over the weekend.
Reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo concluded a successful participation in the Barcelona 24 Hour Fermí Vélez Trophy at the Montmeló circuit over the weekend.
Taking to the wheel of a Seat León Supercopa of the PCR Sport team, Lorenzo was accompanied by Moto2 rider Ricky Cardús and drivers Álvaro Fontes and José Manuel de los Milagros. The quartet ended the event fifth overall and first in the A3T category, and were the best finishing Spanish team in the endurance event.
It was Lorenzo’s second drive with Seat after he recently made his debut in the Spanish Endurance Cup, also held at the Circuit de Catalunya, which he won.
The German Schubert Motorsport team was the overall winner of the 14th edition of the event, which attracted 59 cars and many riders, amongst them former Le Mans 24 winners Jean-Pierre Jaussaud and Jan Lammers.
