Remembering the 125 class: 2007

motogp.com recalls the most memorable and exciting races of the last 20 years in the historical 125cc category.

motogp.com’s special section commemorating the retired 125cc class at the end of the category’s historical run continues. This is a year full of surprises, beginning with the Championship winner, Gabor Talmacsi, who few expected to be so strong throughout the season. The Hungarian closed the season with 282 points, 15 more than his closest contender for the crown, Héctor Faubel.

For 2007, we review the Mugello round, a race particularly noted for its spectacular battle between Faubel and Talmacsi, accompanied by Sergio Gadea and Simone Corsi fought ferociously to the end.
