El Periodico: Stoner: "With my daughter at home, it’s difficult to go racing"

Casey Stoner shared how being a new father may affect his racing career according to an article in El Periodico, saying, "When I married Adriana, everyone said that would affect me. Well, I won my first title that year. And when Adriana became pregnant, I won the second title and now with Ally with us I hope to win the third."

Stoner is sure he remain capable of defending his title, though that did not prevent him from acknowledging that before traveling to Malaysia on Sunday it was hard to leave home. "I have to admit that when he went to leave my house, Ally woke up and couldn’t resist the temptation to kiss her. The truth is that with her at home, it’s difficult to leave. But once I got to the track, I haven’t stopped working hard to improve the Honda ahead of the start of the Championship."
