L'Equipe: Pedrosa confident of an injury-free year

After completing the pre-season at Jerez, Dani Pedrosa told L’Equipe that "after many years of being affected by old injuries, I finally feel physically well going into this season. I've worked very hard during pre-season to recover from these old injuries". The Spaniard is confident that his luck will change, and continued: "The problem up until now has been that every time I crashed I injured myself. Other riders crash harder and never miss a race. We'll see how far I can get if that changes".

Talking about his new machine for the 2012 campaign, the Repsol Honda rider added: "I don't have a complete handle on it, but we're working hard with the mechanics. I think the change in engine capacity has been a positive thing, the bikes are more powerful and should offer a better spectacle because there will be more overtaking".
