Jerez host the first 2012 MotoGP™ "Day of Champions"

Jerez host the first 2012 MotoGP™ "Day of Champions"

This Thursday, before the first European round of the MotoGP™ championship in Jerez, the Spanish division of Riders for Health has organized the first fundraiser for its vital medical work in Africa.

Among the numerous events leading up to the MotoGP ™ Gran Premio bwin de España, the Jerez Circuit will host the latest "Day of Champions" this Thursday, a series of events which aims to raise funds to support the activities of the NGO riders in Africa.

One exciting activity up for grabs to a select number of top bidders, is the opportunity to take their bike around the Jerez circuit and soak up the atmosphere from a riders point of view. In addition to this there will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs such as paddock passes and a meet-and-greet with Álvaro Bautista in his pit box.

NGO humanitarian riders enable 10 million people to receive health care in Africa thanks to a transport network based on motorcycles, which are able to cope with some of the world´s harshest terrain. Riders for Heath aims to prevent people dying from easily curable diseases, for the simple reason that health care cannot get there on time.
