Dovizioso speaks out about Ducati move

For the first time since announcing his move to the Ducati Team for next season, Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Andrea Dovizioso spoke about his decision at the press conference ahead of the Czech GP.

The Italian, who will replace compatriot Valentino Rossi at the end of the season, believes that Ducati’s new partnership with German automotive giant Audi, as well as the team’s ambition to be competitive, will bring good results in the long run.

“Yesterday we signed and it was a big decision. I’m so happy and so excited to be part of the project with Ducati and Audi. I spoke with Del Torchio and Preziosi and they explained the project to me as well as Audi coming in, so it looks like there are many things to get a result. Everybody knows Ducati’s situation, and I’m confident about us working together to get a result. I can’t say any more as nobody can say how the bike is and how Ducati is if you don’t try.”
