Faubel heads final free Valencian practice

On the second day of the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana it was Hector Faubel who set the pace in the final Moto3™ free practice ahead of Maverick Viñales and Jack Miller.

Hector Faubel, back in action this weekend as a replacement for Alberto Moncayo in the Andalucia JHK t-shirt Laglisse team, posted the fastest time of the final free practice session at Valencia on a drying track.

The Spaniard moved up from 15th to 1st on his final flying lap to move ahead of Blusens Avintia's Maverick Viñales and Caretta Technology's Jack Miller.
Luis Salom (RW Racing GP) and Danny Kent (Red Bull KTM Ajo) completed the top 5 while Kent's team-mate and 2012 Moto3 World Champion Sandro Cortese was only 20th in this session.
The session started on a damp track due to overnight rain but under sunny skies - in mixed conditions, various riders went out, with incidents involving a collision between Miguel Oliveira and Toni Finsterbusch, as well as a crash for Louis Rossi, fortunately without any major consequences.
