"Today is a great day for me; it’s the culmination of a dream. I'm joining a great team and for me the best solution to which I could aspire. I'm anxious to be able to live my first experiences with them and to quickly familiarize myself with all the members of the team, which was presented to me like a big family. I'm young and I have everything to learn from a group that has extensive experience and has ha many successes over time."
"I am delighted to be able to give a chance to a young talent like Lorenzo to be at the highest level in Moto3. With his arrival, our "youth project", which I strongly wanted to realize, is being realized. I'm convinced that next season, Lorenzo and Niccolò will give us great satisfaction. I am proud to follow the growth of two young Italian talents and to build for them a prestigious sporting future. Lorenzo has proven to be fast in winning 2011 Rookies Cup. He is an extrovert boy, who has a great desire to express himself and we will give him the opportunity to do so."
