Tomoyoshi Koyama will back in the Moto2 World Championship with the Technomag-CIP team from Misano, having replaced Roberto Rolfo.

Due to personal reasons, Rolfo has decided to stop his Moto2 season. In agreement with IRTA, Technomag-CIP decided to replace him with Koyama until the end of this year. The Japanese rider knows the Grand Prix world very well (he finished 3rd in 125cc in 2007) and he knows the CIP Team, as he has rode for them last year in the CEV (3rd in Moto2).

Alain Bronec, Team Owner

"Roberto took a very difficult decision. We respect his choice and we wish him all the best for his future. To replace him, we decided to bring in a well-known rider. This rider knows perfectly the Moto2 class and Grand Prix. Tomoyoshi Koyama is joining our Moto2 team for the last 6 GP and is now ready for the challenge."
