Bautista confident for 2012 after Test

Over the three day Official MotoGP™ Test, Bautista’s confidence on the 1000cc machine gradually increased and now both team and rider are extremely confident about the next Official Test that takes place at the same circuit at the end of this month.

The Spaniard completed 34 laps on the third and final day of this Test, stopping the clock at 2’01.384 before a heavy tropical shower brought the session to a premature end.

Álvaro Bautista:

"The first test is over and we are coming away from it feeling positive. I took another step forward today, improving my rhythm more than anything, and overall we did a good job and established a good feel with the RC213V. Now we have a little time before the next test here at Sepang to process the information we gathered over the last three days. We need to get everything right for the next visit to Malaysia, but I’m satisfied and confident about the future."
