SporTV: MotoGP to return to Brazil in 2014

According to Brazilian "SporTV News", the president of the Brazilian Motorcycle Confederation (CMB), Firmo Alves, has said that the MotoGP™ World Championship will be returning to the country from 2014. He allegedly made the comments at a Honda presentation in Sao Paulo, stating that whilst he was "assured" the country would host a round, the venue has not been confirmed. The last MotoGP race to be held in the country was eight years ago in 2004 in Rio de Janeiro at the Autodromo Jacarepagua, which has now been demolished to make way for the Olympic Park for the 2016 Games.
