CIP riders undergo tropical pre-season training

Tuesday, 5 February 2013

Physical and psychological preparation for 2013 season keeps going for Alan Techer and Juanfran Guevara, CIP Moto3’s riders.

After his training with French Enduro team in French Pyrenees at the beginning of the month, Alan met his Spanish teammate to fly with Alain Bronec to Gabon for a very intensive week.

Quad, Enduro, Jet Ski… Their physical training scheduled was packed. Regarding the weather conditions, since Gabon is an equatorial country, the riders enjoyed a blazing heat and a rather humid journey!

Alain Bronec, team owner: “2013 season preparation is in full swing. We just had a week in Gabon and it was very interesting. Weather conditions were close to the one we usually have for the Malaysian GP. Gabon helped us to test our young riders’ physical conditions in specific and difficult situations, as they will have again in October in Malaysia. This week was also the opportunity for our riders to know each other in a better way and to get a team’s cohesion. Alan and Juanfran are different but complementary. Along the journey and the difficulties we saw how they supported each other, it is promising for the coming season.”

Next stop is the IRTA official test, which will take place in Valencia from the 12th until the14th of February.
